Deloitte List of Largest Retailers Worldwide in 2013

Each year, big-four consulting firm Deloitte produces a report on the worldwide retail sector and this year sees the 16th edition. The Deloitte Global Powers of Retailing 2013 report looks at retailers’ annual revenues up to June 2012 to get its figures.

3. Tesco PLC – UK – $101,574m
4. Metro AG – Germany – $92,905m
5. The Kroger Co. – US $90,374m
6. Costco Wholesale Corporation – US – $88,915m
7. Schwarz Unternehmens Treuhand KG – Germany – $87,841m
8. Aldi Einkauf GmbH & Co. oHG – Germany – $73,375m
9. Walgreen Co. – US – $72,184m
